All the rooms at Hôtel De Paris have a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a mountain view. The Basic Single Room accommodates one person in 13 m²; the Double or Twin Room accommodates two guests in 14 m². The Triple Room measures 17 m² and can accommodate three people. At 20 m², the Quadruple Room (4 Adults) accommodates four people.

The sleeping arrangements include a single bed, a double bed or several beds. The Triple Room has one single bed and one double bed, or three single beds; the Quadruple Room offers four single beds or two single beds and one double bed. The rooms also include a shower or bath, a hairdryer and heating.

Briançon is a town in the Hautes-Alpes surrounded by Alpine peaks, at the meeting point of valleys leading towards Italy and the Écrins massif. Visitors will find a lively mountain town, with skiing in winter and hiking and cycling in warmer weather.

The Prorel 1 cable car, 640 m away, connects the town to the Serre Chevalier ski area. Parc de la Schappe, 710 m away, has walking paths beside the water. In the fortified town, ancient gates and steep streets lead to Fort du Château, 1.2 km away, which overlooks the rooftops and valleys. Musée de la Mine, also 1.2 km away, explores local mining history. Briançon SNCF railway station is 200 m from the hotel; the Lautaret, Galibier and Izoard passes can be explored by car, depending on traffic conditions.

In winter, the slopes of Serre Chevalier attract fans of skiing and snow sports; it is worth preparing suitable equipment for mountain roads. From June to autumn, trails take you through the landscapes of the Écrins and neighbouring valleys, with longer days for walks or bike rides. You can spend a day exploring the old town and its fortifications, then set aside another outing for the views from the passes. The changing seasons colour the mountains and make both town walks and excursions at altitude particularly varied.
