Most rooms at Hotel Espadon bleu accommodate two people, with triple and family configurations for up to four guests. They have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Le Lavandou is a coastal commune in Var, on the Mediterranean coast between the Massif des Maures and the sea. The harbour, beaches and town-centre streets give the town a rhythm centred on water activities and walks. The seafront suits travellers who want to alternate between swimming, boat trips and exploring a lively Provençal town, particularly during the summer season.

Grande Plage du Lavandou is 350 m away, with its sandy shoreline stretching along the town centre. The harbour is the departure point for boat services to the Îles d’Or, including Port-Cros, whose national park protects Mediterranean landscapes and seabeds popular with walkers and divers. Fort de Brégançon, 6 km away, is a historic site associated with the Var coast. In the town centre, the Thursday morning market is an opportunity to browse stalls selling local produce. The bus station makes it easy to travel overland from the town.

In summer, the days are suited to morning swims, trips out to sea and late-afternoon walks, when the heat subsides. The coast is also worth visiting in spring and September, when milder conditions are good for walking along the shore or visiting neighbouring villages. For a day focused on nature, a boat trip to Port-Cros can combine trails, coves and the chance to observe the seabed; good walking shoes are advisable for the island’s paths.
