Hotel Verlaine

Hotel Verlaine offers several double rooms as well as suites, with categories suited to couples and families. All have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The rooms are soundproofed; depending on the category, they overlook the garden, the inner courtyard or the city. Sizes range from 15 to 33 m², and the suites offer additional sleeping space.

The differences lie in the features: some rooms have a balcony, while the Suite Atelier - Annexe has a terrace and a separate living area. The Junior Suite combines a large double bed with a sofa bed. The Family Suite also has a sofa bed, and several categories are available with a large double bed or two single beds. The rooms in the annexes have their own layouts, and some include a coffee machine.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a terrace with outdoor furniture and a sun terrace. Inside, the reception is open 24 hours a day; concierge service, luggage storage and express check-in are available. The lift serves the floors, and facilities help guests with reduced mobility.

The on-site café, snack bar and bar offer places to take a break, while fruit, wine and champagne are also available. Continental or buffet breakfast can be served in your room; special-diet menus are available on request. The rooms have a minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities. Private parking, available by reservation only, costs €20 per day; an electric vehicle charging point is available. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms. Pets are allowed on request, and a supplement may apply.

La Californie Pezou is a residential district of Cannes, set back from the seafront and east of the city centre. Its streets connect residential areas with gardens and avenues leading down to the Croisette. The district suits travellers looking for a quieter urban setting between beach outings, sightseeing and events at the Palais des Festivals. Montfleury Garden and several small squares add green spaces to this Mediterranean cityscape.

The Croisette brings together beaches, seafront promenades and landmarks associated with the festival; Croisette Beach is 400 m away. La Malmaison, an art centre on the Croisette, hosts exhibitions. Further on towards Le Suquet, the Musée des explorations du monde occupies the former château and displays art and ethnographic collections. Cannes railway station, 800 m away, connects the city to the regional rail network. The old town, the port and the piers also offer ways to explore the seafront and the Lérins Islands.

On warm days, you can stroll along the Croisette, swim or take a boat trip to Sainte-Marguerite. In spring and autumn, the weather remains pleasant for exploring the centre on foot and visiting museums without the summer crowds. In summer, plan walks for the cooler hours and leave time for a break on the beach. During major events, the centre becomes very lively; the railway station and getting around on foot are especially convenient for reaching Cannes's main venues.
