L'auguste maison d'hôtes

L'auguste maison d'hôtes offers three 25 m² rooms for two people, as well as a 64 m² room that can accommodate four. All have a private bathroom, garden views, a terrace and a coffee machine. They also include a kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher and kitchenware, as well as a barbecue. Each of the 25 m² rooms has a large double bed.

The 64 m² room accommodates four people and also has a washing machine. It includes two large double beds, an electric kettle, a microwave, outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area. The rooms also come with a hairdryer and a high chair. The outdoor areas offer garden views and a place to enjoy meals outside.

The garden, terrace and outdoor furniture provide several spaces to enjoy the fresh air. A barbecue and dedicated facilities let you prepare meals outdoors, while the shared lounge offers an indoor communal space. The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally and has a shallow area and sun loungers. Parasols and a pool cover are also provided.

A bar and continental breakfast are available on site. Wi-Fi is free in the shared areas. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms are non-smoking and have a private entrance; the property also has heating and a shared kitchen. Check-in is from 17:00 to 20:00, and you must let the property know your expected arrival time in advance. Check-out is between 07:00 and 11:00.

Valensole is a Provençal village in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, surrounded by open landscapes and farmland. The village offers a glimpse of local life, while the surrounding roads pass through hamlets and countryside suited to drives and cycle rides.

In the village, Saint-Blaise Church and Saint-Mayeul Chapel are reminders of the local heritage. Lavandes Angelvin gives you a glimpse of the crops that have made the plateau famous. Château d'Allemagne-en-Provence and the nearby village of Allemagne-en-Provence offer another stop for exploring the area. Further afield, Riez preserves traces of its ancient past, including Roman columns. Verdon Regional Natural Park opens onto varied landscapes and outdoor activities; options depend on the area you visit.

A car is useful for getting between the villages, fields and sites scattered across this part of Provence. Lavender usually blooms in summer, although timing varies with the weather and the individual fields; late afternoon brings pleasant light for exploring the plateau. In spring and autumn, milder temperatures are well suited to walks and visits to the villages. You can spend a day among Valensole's agricultural landscapes, then continue to Riez or along the roads of the Verdon.
