L Ostau de la Treille

L Ostau de la Treille offers three double rooms for two people, two of which are called Deluxe Rooms. Each has a private bathroom, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. All three rooms are also soundproofed. They range in size from 28 to 43 m², with different features in each room.

The largest Deluxe Room is 43 m² and opens onto a terrace overlooking the garden and mountains. The second Deluxe Room measures 35 m² and includes a seating area and a dining area. The 28 m² Double Room overlooks the garden and swimming pool and has a terrace. The rooms also have an electric kettle; views and outdoor spaces vary by room type. Each room has one large double bed.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a terrace and outdoor furniture for enjoying the Provençal surroundings. The outdoor swimming pool completes these facilities; sun loungers and parasols let you relax by the water. There is also a pool bar. Indoors, the sauna offers a place to unwind, while board games and puzzles are available for quieter moments.

You can enjoy a walk around the village and outings to nearby villages. The livelier Forcalquier offers markets, heritage sites and services while retaining the feel of a small town in Provence.

Saint-Georges Church is 80 m from the guest house. The Rochers des Mourres, 3.4 km away, form a landscape of limestone formations sculpted by erosion, popular for walking and panoramic views. Forcalquier, 4.9 km away, is worth visiting for its old lanes, Notre-Dame-du-Bourguet Co-Cathedral and the Cordeliers Convent. The Provençal market is a chance to discover local produce. For travel to Limans from further afield, Marseille-Provence Airport is 72 km away; a car makes it easier to get between the villages and countryside sights.

Explore the Forcalquier area at your own pace, following its country roads, markets and hillside paths. Spring and autumn are good seasons for walks, with milder temperatures for exploring the rock formations of Les Mourres or nearby villages. In summer, the heat makes it best to plan walks for the morning and spend the hottest hours by the pool or in the shade of the garden. Haute-Provence is also known for its lavender landscapes, particularly colourful in late June and July. An outing can combine a morning in Forcalquier with a walk among the limestone hills.
