L'Oustalet

L'Oustalet offers two rooms for two people, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. Both overlook the garden and mountains, giving you a glimpse of the landscape from the sleeping areas. Bed linen and towels are provided. The rooms differ mainly in their size and individual amenities.

The Studio (2 Adults) is more spacious at 18 m² and has a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the garden. You will also find facilities for preparing drinks and simple meals, including a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. The Double Room measures 13 m² and has an electric kettle; it offers the same views of the garden and mountains, but does not have the balcony or kitchenette found in the studio. Both rooms are designed for two people.

L'Oustalet has a garden furnished with outdoor furniture, as well as a sun terrace where you can relax. A second terrace and barbecue facilities complete the outdoor spaces. The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally; sun loungers, parasols and pool or beach towels are also provided. Indoor private parking is free, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the guest house.

Inside, the shared kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine and an electric kettle. The facilities also include a flat-screen TV, heating and air conditioning. Daily housekeeping is provided. Private check-in and check-out are available, with express check-in and check-out. Board games and puzzles are provided. The guest house is for adults only; the rooms are non-smoking, and some areas are designated for smoking.

Sisteron lies in a landscape of Provençal hills, on the banks of the Durance, between the Alps and Provence. Sisteron Citadel, 1.7 km away, offers a chance to discover the town's defensive history and take in views of the valley from its ramparts. In the centre, Notre-Dame and Saint-Thyrse Cathedral and the Musée Terre & Temps offer visits focused on local heritage. Sisteron railway station is 1.2 km away, and the bus station is 1.4 km away. Marseille Provence Airport is 130 km away. A car makes it easier to explore the surrounding landscapes and villages, while the centre of Sisteron is best discovered on foot.

For a day in town, spend the morning exploring the narrow streets and monuments, then leave the afternoon for views from the citadel or a walk along the Durance. Spring and autumn are well suited to sightseeing and outdoor activities, with generally milder temperatures than in summer.
