La Bastide des Oliviers

La Bastide des Oliviers comprises three one-bedroom holiday homes, each with a separate bedroom, living room, private bathroom and kitchen. Every home has a terrace with a garden view; one also offers a mountain view. The accommodation is air-conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV. The kitchens include a fridge, oven, hob and microwave.

The homes measure 27, 30 and 35 m² respectively and can accommodate up to four people. Each has a large double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Outdoor furniture makes it possible to eat on the terrace. A coffee machine and kettle are also provided in the kitchen. The garden views, and the mountain view in one home, as well as the floor areas vary; all share a layout with a separate bedroom and living room.

Each home has an equipped kitchen, dining area and living space. You will find a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. A coffee machine completes the facilities for meals and breaks. Bed linen and towels are provided, and the private bathroom includes a shower, toilet and free toiletries.

Outside, the terraces, garden furniture and barbecue make it possible to enjoy meals outdoors. The garden has parasols. Free private parking is available on site and includes an electric vehicle charging point. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms. The homes are air-conditioned, detached and located on the ground floor. A washing machine, iron and clothes-drying rack are also available.

Le Beausset is a town in the Var hinterland, between Toulon and the Bandol coast. The surrounding landscape is made up of hills, country roads and wine estates. The village is a base for exploring a less coastal side of Provence, with markets and narrow streets in the village centre, while remaining within reach of the beaches and towns along the coast. The area appeals to wine lovers and to guests looking to combine visits to villages with trips to the seaside.

The Paul Ricard Circuit, in Le Castellet, is 11 km away and hosts motor racing events. The hilltop medieval village of Le Castellet is best explored on foot, along its narrow streets and from its ramparts. The Bandol wine estates offer an opportunity to discover the appellation’s wines, while the Notre-Dame du Beausset-Vieux sanctuary is on nearby high ground. For train travel, Ollioules-Sanary and Bandol railway stations are 7 km and 8 km away respectively; a car is useful for exploring the villages and estates.

In summer, the coast attracts more visitors, and the beaches of Bandol are well suited to days spent swimming. Spring and the shoulder season are pleasant times to drive along the vineyard roads and visit the villages without the same crowds. A day could combine a stroll through old Le Castellet with a tasting at an estate, followed by a stop on the coast. In autumn, the vineyards take on colourful hues as the regional grape harvest gets under way.
