La Bastideto is rented as a whole: you have a 160 m² villa arranged around three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. It can accommodate up to eight people. This layout suits a stay with family or friends, with shared spaces for spending time together and separate bedrooms for a little privacy. The villa has five beds across its three bedrooms.

The bathroom includes a bath and a shower, as well as a bidet and toilet. The balcony extends the indoor spaces, while air conditioning, a washing machine and a dishwasher make longer stays easier. The fireplace, sofa and seating area complete the layout. The kitchen includes a fridge, oven, hob, microwave and coffee machine. The private swimming pool and barbecue are also on the property.

The Maison de Frédéric Mistral reflects the close connection between the village and the Provençal poet.

In the village, Sainte-Agathe Church and Mistral’s house can be visited on a stroll. Graveson and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence offer other stops for a wander and a chance to discover the Alpilles. Tarascon and Avignon provide access to the regional rail network; Avignon TGV station is 14 km away. In Avignon, the Palace of the Popes and Pont Saint-Bénézet are two major landmarks of medieval heritage. The region’s roads also lead to the limestone landscapes and trails of the Alpilles.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for walks, with generally milder temperatures for exploring villages and paths. Summer days are hot: the private swimming pool offers a place to relax after an excursion. You can spend a day in Avignon, then return to Maillane to enjoy the garden and barbecue. Hikers will find routes to explore in the Alpilles, depending on the season and their level; for sightseeing, it is best to plan visits for the cooler parts of the day in midsummer.
