La Cigale

The accommodation consists of two-bedroom houses or holiday homes, all measuring 60 m². They include a living room, an equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine are among the facilities. Sleeping arrangements combine a large double bed, single beds and, in some houses, a sofa bed. Capacity varies from five to six people, depending on the house.

The outdoor spaces also distinguish the accommodation: several have a terrace or patio overlooking the garden and pool, while one house overlooks the garden. The houses have a barbecue. Kitchens include a refrigerator, microwave, kettle and utensils. Soundproofing is among the facilities in several units, and some have a private entrance. The houses are suitable for stays with family or friends, with spaces for cooking and spending time together.

La Cigale has free private parking, available without reservation, as well as free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Pets are allowed on request; an additional charge may apply. Breakfast can be served in your room, and an on-site café, snack bar and bar provide further dining options. Wine and champagne are also available.

Outside, the garden, outdoor furniture and dining area make it easy to enjoy meals al fresco. The sun terrace, patio, picnic area and barbecue facilities extend the living spaces. Activities include badminton, table tennis, walks and cycling; bicycles are available to hire. Families can make use of outdoor games, a playground, baby safety gates and a babysitting service. Massages are also available.

Les Arcs-sur-Argens is a village in the Var whose old quarter retains old gates, narrow streets and traces of its medieval past. Le Parage, around the Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, adds a heritage dimension to a visit, while the surrounding landscape alternates between vineyards, hills and Provençal villages. La Cigale is in the countryside around Les Arcs, away from the streets of the centre; a car is useful for exploring the area and visiting the wine estates.

The old centre of Les Arcs and the Maison de l'Histoire des Arcs offer a chance to discover the village’s history and architecture. Several wine estates are nearby, including Château Rasque and Château Sainte-Roseline, where you can learn about the wines of the Var. Les Arcs–Draguignan railway station connects the area to regional and national rail services. Taradeau, another village in the Argens Valley, is a place to stop while exploring the surroundings. Country paths and roads are suitable for walks and cycling.

Spring and autumn are good times for walks through the vineyards and visits to the villages, with temperatures generally milder than in the height of summer. In September and October, the grape harvest shapes the wine-growing season; the estates then offer a practical insight into vineyard work. In summer, the pool and outdoor activities take up more of the day. You can spend a morning in the old village, then continue with a tasting at a nearby estate, planning to return to the house to enjoy the garden.
