La Maison de Charlie

La Maison de Charlie offers three double rooms, all designed for two guests and equipped with a private bathroom. They measure 20 or 30 m². Each has a patio or terrace, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Views of the garden, swimming pool and mountains give the rooms their own character, while soundproofing is a shared feature.

The sleeping arrangements vary: one room has two single beds, while the other two have a large double bed. The room with two single beds allows them to be joined to form a 180 × 200 cm bed. The 20 m² room stands out for its swimming pool view and private entrance. The two 30 m² rooms offer more space; one has a bathtub, while the other is accessible only by stairs to the upper floors. A refrigerator and kettle are also provided.

La Maison de Charlie has several outdoor areas around the garden, including a sun terrace, a patio, outdoor furniture and an al fresco dining area. The private swimming pool, sun loungers and parasols make it easy to enjoy sunny days. A picnic area is another useful amenity, while the garden provides a green setting for relaxing.

You can explore the area on foot, by bicycle or on hiking trails. The rooms are soundproofed and have a private entrance; the upper floors are accessible only by stairs. The indoor areas are heated. This rural area appeals to travellers who want to combine walks, heritage and breaks in villages, away from large urban centres.

Cucuron, 2.2 km away, is known for its pond lined with plane trees and its old town. Lourmarin, 4.5 km away, has a Renaissance castle open to visitors and lively streets with galleries and shops. Fort de Buoux, in the Luberon mountain range, draws visitors interested in ruins and hiking. Pertuis railway station is 12 km away; a car makes it easier to get between the villages and trails. Marseille-Provence Airport is 40 km away.

Spring and autumn bring pleasant temperatures for exploring the paths and villages without the summer heat. In summer, plan walks for early morning or late afternoon, then take a break in the shade or by the swimming pool. You could combine a visit to Lourmarin Castle with a stop in Cucuron and a hike in the Luberon. Lavender fields are particularly common in the region in early summer, depending on flowering conditions.
