La Maison de Line

La Maison de Line offers two Double Rooms and several cottages for two people. The 15 m² rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and good soundproofing. One overlooks the garden and the Alpilles; the other has a more traditional layout. Bed arrangements may vary depending on the option selected.

The cottages, ranging from 35 to 55 m², each have a kitchen, a living area and outdoor access with a terrace or private garden. They all include a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. Some categories also have a dishwasher, while the Deluxe Cottage stands out for its bathtub. These accommodation options combine indoor space with garden views.

La Maison de Line has a heated outdoor pool surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. The pool has a shallow end and is enclosed by a fence. The garden features outdoor furniture, a sun terrace, a picnic area and barbecue facilities. A pool cover and pool or beach towels are also provided.

Private parking is free, and there is a charging point for electric vehicles. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is a café on site, and menus catering to certain dietary requirements are available on request. Shared areas include a shared kitchen and board games. Activities on offer include yoga classes, massages, cycling tours, walking tours and hiking. The rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is a small Provençal town in the Alpilles, known for its old streets, shaded squares and links with Vincent van Gogh. The centre combines stone houses, local shops and traces of Roman history. The surrounding countryside alternates between olive groves, pine forests and limestone hills; it appeals to visitors interested in heritage as well as walkers and cyclists. La Maison de Line is in a residential area, a five-minute walk from the town centre.

In the streets of the centre, the Collégiale Saint-Martin and the old gates bear witness to the town’s past. The Musée des Alpilles explores local history and traditions, while the Musée Estrine is devoted to art and Vincent van Gogh. On the outskirts of Saint-Rémy, the ancient site of Glanum and Les Antiques bring together the area’s best-known Roman remains. The Prieuré Saint-Paul-de-Mausole is associated with Van Gogh’s stay in the region. Tarascon and Avignon railway stations serve the surrounding area; a car makes it easier to visit the villages and sites spread across the Alpilles.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks, cultural visits and cycling, with temperatures generally milder than in high summer. During the warmer months, the streets and markets come alive, while the Alpilles trails are best explored early in the day. You can combine a visit to Glanum with a stop at the museums in the centre and a walk through the limestone landscapes. The areas around Avignon and Les Baux-de-Provence offer further heritage sites to extend your stay.
