La Pardigone

La Pardigone is rented as a whole: this 57 m² holiday home has two bedrooms, a living room and a private bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second has two single beds, giving the house a total capacity of four people. This arrangement gives everyone a separate bed while allowing you to share the communal areas.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave and utensils. The coffee machine and kettle complete the dining area. The living room has a flat-screen TV and a sofa. The terrace, which is accessible from the house, overlooks the garden and mountains; the views of the surrounding area provide a backdrop for meals outdoors. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and hairdryer. There is also a washing machine.

La Pardigone has a private entrance and is on the ground floor. Outside, the garden, sun terrace, outdoor furniture and dining area make it possible to eat outdoors. There is also a terrace, while board games and books, DVDs or music for children provide activities inside the house. Heating is available.

Castellane is a village in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, characterised by limestone hills and the Verdon. Its narrow streets, small squares and the outline of the Notre-Dame du Roc chapel form a mountain landscape that draws visitors for walks as well as rivers and panoramic views. The village retains a Provençal atmosphere, with an old centre to explore on foot and scenery that changes along the winding roads. La Pardigone is in this area, near the village of La Garde.

The Verdon Gorge, 23 km away, draws visitors interested in hiking, canoeing and swimming in turquoise waters. In Castellane, the Maison Nature et Patrimoines helps you learn more about the region’s landscapes and activities. Pont du Roc and Porte de l'Annonciade are among the local landmarks. A car makes it easier to travel between the village, viewpoints and various trailheads; La Pardigone’s private parking lets you leave your car on site between excursions.

In fine weather, you can enjoy outings by the water and hikes in the gorge, while spring and autumn often bring milder temperatures for exploring the roads and villages in the area. You could start the day by exploring the centre of Castellane, continue with a walk in the hills and finish near the Verdon. For a quieter outing, the surrounding villages and mountain scenery are well suited to photo stops and walks. Water sports depend on the season and local conditions.
