La Petite Auberge

The five categories range from the Standard Double Room to suites, with floor areas of 20–40 m². All have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a TV; every room also includes a minibar. The Comfort Double Room combines a terrace with views of the pool and mountains. The Privilege Room overlooks the garden and can accommodate extra beds for children. The Junior Suite stands out for its seating area, while the Suite with Terrace has a separate bedroom, a living area and a terrace.

Depending on the category, you will also find a coffee machine, a safe or a bath. The rooms have different sleeping arrangements, with single beds, a large double bed or a sofa bed, depending on the type you choose. The Standard Room is the most compact and has a walk-in shower; it is on the ground floor. The suites offer more space and views of the pool or surrounding hills.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace and outdoor furniture. You can also make use of sun loungers, parasols and towels for the pool or beach. For relaxation, massages for the body, hands, feet, head, neck or back are available. You can go hiking, cycling, horse riding and canoeing; badminton and tennis equipment is also available.

The restaurant serves children's meals and can offer menus for certain dietary requirements on request. A café and bar round out the dining options, with wine and champagne available. Guests also have access to a shared lounge with a TV, luggage storage and a concierge service. Free private parking is available on site. Free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms. Pets are welcome, possibly for an extra charge, and pet bowls can be provided.

Tourtour is a hilltop village in the Haut-Var, surrounded by hills, forests and garrigue landscapes. Its narrow streets, little squares and stone houses create a Provençal setting to explore at an easy pace on foot. La Petite Auberge is in this hilly area, suited to travellers who want to alternate walks around the village with terrace breaks and trips into the Var countryside.

In the village, Saint-Denis Church and Annabelle and Bernard Buffet Square are among the landmarks to discover. The Château de Raphélis and Vieux Château bear witness to the local heritage. The Verdon Regional Natural Park extends across the surrounding area, with trails, gorge scenery and opportunities for outdoor activities; the Verdon Gorges are 30 km away. Villecroze-les-Grottes, 2.3 km away, offers troglodyte caves and another Provençal village to explore. A car makes it easier to visit the villages, wine estates and natural sites in this part of the Var.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks and sightseeing, with temperatures often milder than on summer days. In summer, the villages and terraces become lively, while the cooler morning hours are better for hiking. You can spend a day in Tourtour and Villecroze, then set aside another outing for the landscapes of the Verdon. Wine lovers will also find several estates in the area, where vineyards form part of the Provençal scenery.
