La roque

La roque offers two 15 m² Double Rooms, each for two people. Both have a private bathroom, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Each room opens onto a terrace overlooking the garden; the windows also offer views of the town. A coffee machine is provided in both rooms.

The rooms are in the same category and therefore have a similar layout, with a double bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower or bath. Toiletries, a hairdryer and a drying rack are also provided. A refrigerator, microwave and kettle are available too. The terrace and views of the garden or town are the rooms’ distinguishing features, and they are suitable for two people.

The outdoor swimming pool, garden and terraces offer several ways to enjoy the outdoors. A sun terrace adds to the outdoor facilities, while free private parking is available on site without prior reservation. Pets are welcome at no extra charge. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms, which also have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

Figanières is a village in the Var, in the Provençal hinterland, between Draguignan and the foothills leading to the Pre-Alps. You can explore its centre on foot along quiet streets, around the church and gardens. The surrounding countryside combines hills, vineyards and small roads, making it well suited to cycling and trips by car. Life moves at a village pace, away from the coastal promenades, while still being in the Var department.

Jardin des Senteurs is 230 m away and offers a pleasant stop in the village. Église Saint-Michel is 210 m away; Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-l’Olivier and Bike Park Figanieres offer other ideas for a walk or activity nearby. Draguignan, a few kilometres away, has museums, gardens and monuments, including Cimetière américain de Draguignan. Les Arcs–Draguignan train station is 12 km away. The nearby wine estates offer a chance to discover the wines of Provence, while local roads connect the villages of the hinterland.

Spring and autumn are pleasant seasons for exploring the hills and visiting wine estates; in summer, plan walks for the morning or late afternoon. You could start the day with a walk through the centre of Figanières, continue on to Draguignan, then finish at a nearby wine estate. The Mediterranean coast is reachable by car for a day trip, but you can also discover the region at a slower pace, taking in its villages, paths and Provençal landscapes.
