La Tourelle Suite Cosy entre vignoble aixois et Luberon

La Tourelle offers two accommodation options with different layouts: a room with a king-size bed and a suite comprising two bedrooms. The room is suitable for a couple’s stay; the suite offers more space, with a seating area and capacity for five people. Both have a private bathroom, a separate entrance and a terrace. Each accommodation option has a coffee machine, and bed linen and towels are provided.

The views help set the two spaces apart: the room overlooks an inner courtyard, while the suite overlooks both the garden and the courtyard. The latter has two double beds across its bedrooms. The accommodation is soundproofed and has a patio. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower or a bathtub. The 25 m² room is a separate space, while the 48 m² suite combines two bedrooms and a seating area for groups.

La Tourelle has a garden, a patio and several terrace areas, including a sun terrace. The private outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally and has a shallow end; sun loungers and parasols are also provided. Outdoor furniture and a dining area let you enjoy the garden at different times of day. A picnic area completes the outdoor spaces.

This is a suitable stop for travellers who want to discover Provençal landscapes while keeping Aix and the Luberon within driving distance.

Château La Coste, 2.4 km away, combines a wine estate, contemporary art and architecture, with works displayed throughout the landscape. The centre of Aix-en-Provence, about 17 km away, invites you to explore Cours Mirabeau, the squares and the streets of the historic district; its museums, including Musée Granet, round out a visit. The village of Lourmarin and its Renaissance château offer another trip towards the Luberon. Pertuis and Meyrargues have railway stations, but a car makes it easier to travel between the villages, estates and sights in the area. Marseille-Provence Airport is about 50 km away.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are often pleasant for visiting villages and wine estates. Summer brings more heat, so it is best to plan walks for early or late in the day and spend the hottest hours by the pool. You could combine a walk among the works at Château La Coste with an evening in Aix, or drive to Lourmarin to explore its lanes and château. The grape harvest, in September and October, is also an opportunity to explore the wine-growing landscapes of the Aix area.
