La Villa des Cedres

La Villa des Cedres offers five accommodations for two people: four double or twin rooms and one junior suite. All have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a terrace. The Forêt de Cèdres has shaded paths for walking and observing Mediterranean vegetation; it is 2.5 km away. The nearby villages of Lacoste and Ménerbes are good for wandering along sloping lanes and enjoying views of the Luberon. Fort de Buoux, 6 km away, is a historic site set amid rocky landscapes. The Musée de la boulangerie in Bonnieux explores the history of bread and how it is made. A car makes it easier to travel between the villages and natural sites in the area. Marseille-Provence Airport is 40 km away.

Spring and autumn are pleasant seasons for hiking and sightseeing, with temperatures generally milder than in July and August. In summer, markets and villages bring the evenings to life, while wooded paths offer shaded routes. In late June and July, lavender blooms across the Provençal landscape. You can spend a day walking in the forest, exploring Bonnieux’s lanes and relaxing in the garden or by the pool on your return.
