Laltizoard

Laltizoard offers an entire 90 m² chalet, arranged to accommodate up to eight people. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as a living room where you can get together after a day in the mountains. The six beds comprise two large double beds and four single beds. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine and electric kettle. Air conditioning, a television with streaming services, a washing machine and a tumble dryer complete the facilities.

The chalet overlooks the garden and mountains. The terrace and barbecue extend the living areas outdoors, while the private swimming pool, sauna and private hot tub offer ways to relax on site. The bathroom has a shower; bed linen, towels, a hairdryer and toiletries are provided. A high chair is also available.

The outdoor areas include garden furniture, a terrace and a garden, as well as a barbecue and barbecue facilities. The private swimming pool and outdoor pool let you enjoy a swim on site. For relaxation, the chalet also has a hot tub and sauna; yoga classes are available. Guests arriving by car can use the on-site parking and indoor parking.

Indoors, air conditioning, heating and free Wi-Fi complete the facilities. The kitchen includes an oven, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. The washing machine and tumble dryer are useful for active stays. A ski storage room, cycling, hiking, canoeing and skiing are also among the facilities and activities available. The bedrooms are non-smoking.

Briançon stretches across the Hautes-Alpes, between the Durance and Guisane valleys. The town combines an old centre with the narrow streets of the Vauban citadel and newer districts facing the mountains. From the chalet, Parc de la Schappe offers a green space for walks 420 m away. This location suits travellers who want to combine exploring the heritage with outdoor activities, in summer and winter alike.

The Vauban citadel, with its ramparts, gates and fortifications designed by Vauban, can be explored on foot in the historic centre. The Maison du Parc national des Écrins and its Musée du Ski are 700 m away, offering an insight into protected landscapes and the history of mountain sports. Briançon railway station, 600 m away, makes it easy to get around without a car. The Prorel 1 cable car provides access to the Serre Chevalier ski area for activities at altitude. Further away, Montgenèvre offers access to another mountain area.

In winter, the ski areas attract snow sports enthusiasts; the chalet’s ski storage room and boot dryers are particularly useful when you return from the slopes. The milder months are suited to hiking, cycling and kayaking, activities available nearby. Allow time to explore the fortified streets, followed by a walk through the town’s gardens and parks. The Alpine views change with the seasons, and cool evenings make the sauna or hot tub welcome after a day outdoors.
