LE 17

LE 17 offers two double rooms, each designed for two people. Both have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a private entrance and a terrace overlooking the garden. Each room also has a coffee machine, as well as a patio and a view of the garden or inner courtyard. The beds are extra-large double beds.

The Double Room with Garden View measures 17 m² and looks out over the green spaces. The Double Room with Pool View is more spacious at 20 m², and adds a balcony and a view of the pool, as well as a view of the garden. Both room types have a toilet, a hairdryer and free toiletries. The upper floors are accessible by stairs only. These two rooms share the same setting and main facilities, but their size and views distinguish them.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool has a shallow end and is complemented by sun loungers and parasols. The garden, outdoor furniture, patio and sun terrace offer several places to enjoy the fresh air. A barbecue and an outdoor dining area make it easy to enjoy the surroundings in fine weather. Indoors, the shared lounge and TV room provide a communal space to relax.

The shared kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine and an electric kettle. Breakfast is available in several forms: continental, buffet or à la carte. Each accommodation has tea and coffee-making facilities, and there is also a café on site. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the guest house. Guests arriving by car can use the free private parking on site without prior reservation. Walking tours, hiking, horse riding and bicycle hire are among the activities available in the surrounding area.

Courthézon is a commune in Vaucluse, in the wine-growing plain between Orange and Avignon. The village retains old gateways and traces of its fortified past, while its streets and squares make for a peaceful stop between the larger towns of Provence. Vineyards shape the surrounding landscape and give the region a distinctive character, appealing to travellers looking to combine heritage, walks and wine discoveries.

The Roman remains in Orange, including the ancient theatre, offer the chance to spend half a day exploring architecture and history. Avignon draws visitors with the Palace of the Popes, its ramparts and the Pont Saint-Bénézet on the banks of the Rhône. In Courthézon itself, historic gateways and vineyards make for a more leisurely walk. The local railway station makes it easy to travel to nearby towns; a car is useful for exploring the villages and vineyards of Vaucluse. Courthézon railway station is 100 m away, the ancient theatre in Orange is 8 km away and the Palace of the Popes is 20 km away.

Spring and autumn are well suited to sightseeing, tastings and walks through the vineyards, when temperatures are milder. In summer, the pool offers a break after excursions, but historic sites are busier and the afternoon heat can be intense. You can spend a day visiting the market or the village streets, exploring Orange, then returning to Courthézon to enjoy the garden. In September and October, the grape harvest brings a different character to the vineyard landscapes; during hot periods, it is best to plan outdoor visits for early morning or late afternoon.
