Le chalet du Rêveur

Le chalet du Rêveur is rented as a whole: the 40 m² space includes a separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. The layout combines a single bed in the bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. This provides two separate sleeping areas while retaining a living space for meals and relaxation. A private bathroom with a shower or bath completes the accommodation.

The fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare meals on site. It includes a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kitchenware, kettle and coffee machine, as well as a dining table. The balcony and terrace overlook the garden; air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a fireplace are also among the facilities. Towels and bed linen are provided.

The chalet has a separate kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kitchenware. There is also an electric kettle and a coffee machine. The dining table and outdoor dining area offer two options for meals, while the outdoor furniture, terrace and balcony let you enjoy the garden. A barbecue completes the outdoor facilities.

The living room has a sofa, a seating area, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower or bath, a toilet and free toiletries. The accommodation has air conditioning, heating and a private entrance. Free private parking is available on site. Pets are allowed on request, possibly for an additional charge. The chalet has no internet connection.

La Gaude is a village in the Nice hinterland, between the Provençal hills and the plain leading to the Mediterranean. Its surroundings combine village houses, rolling landscapes and country lanes; it suits travellers who want to alternate walks in the hinterland with trips to the coast. The village centre is a few hundred metres from the chalet, while the surrounding terrain is well suited to hiking.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence, 3.2 km away, draws visitors with its medieval lanes, galleries and artists’ studios. The Fondation Maeght, dedicated to modern and contemporary art, is also in this area. The beaches of Cagnes-sur-Mer are about 7 km away. Nice, with its old town, the Cours Saleya market and the Promenade des Anglais, offers an outing combining urban heritage and the seafront; Place Masséna is 10 km away. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport can be reached by car, and the chalet has free private parking.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for walks through the villages and along the trails, with temperatures often pleasant for exploring the hills. In summer, you can spend a day at the beach, then return inland for a quieter evening. A visit to Saint-Paul-de-Vence can be combined with a look around the collections at the Fondation Maeght; another day can be set aside for Nice, with its old lanes, museums and seafront promenade. A car makes it easier to travel between these stops and the accommodation.
