The Marmite de la Bollène Waterfall, 2.2 km away, makes for an outing to a natural site in the valley. The neighbouring village of Roquebillière is also 2.2 km away. Nice, on the coast, is accessible by car; Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport is 36 km away. The gîte's free private parking is useful for getting around this region, where journeys between villages follow valley roads.

Fine weather from spring to early autumn is well suited to walks and excursions at higher altitudes; conditions vary with the weather and elevation.
