Gréoux-les-Bains, 12 km away, is a spa town where you can visit the thermal baths and wander around the old town. The La Brillanne-Oraison and Manosque-Gréoux railway stations serve the area, but getting around locally is easier by car.

Lavender flowering marks the most popular time to visit the plateau, generally between late June and July. In spring and autumn, milder temperatures are well suited to walks around the villages and excursions to the Verdon. You could spend a day exploring Valensole, stopping in Gréoux-les-Bains and enjoying an afternoon by the lake. In summer, plan walks for the cooler parts of the day and leave time to enjoy the swimming pool.
