The centre of Tourrettes-sur-Loup is 1.4 km from Le mas; you can visit the market and the Bastide aux Violettes, dedicated to this emblematic flower. The trails in the Parc Naturel des Rives du Loup offer walks along the river through Mediterranean vegetation. The Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence showcases modern and contemporary art collections. In Grasse, the Musée International de la Parfumerie traces the history of perfume-making, which has shaped the region. Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport is 23 km away.

Spring brings violets and flower-filled landscapes to the fore; the fine weather is also ideal for walks around the villages and hikes through the valleys. In summer, you can spend a day on the coast, then return to the cooler hinterland in the late afternoon. The milder seasons are well suited to visits to Grasse and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, as well as walks around the old village. A car makes it easier to get around this area, where public transport does not serve the guest house directly.
