Le Mas de la Soie

Le Mas de la Soie offers six accommodation options: double rooms, twin rooms and a small house. The rooms have a private bathroom and air conditioning, with garden views. Depending on the category, the views also extend to the pool or inner courtyard. The rooms range from 17 to 35 m², while the small house offers 90 m².

The two 35 m² rooms differ in their beds and kitchen areas: one has a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace, while the other has a kitchenette and a seating area. A 20 m² double room overlooks the pool. The two 17 m² rooms have different layouts, with either a double bed or two single beds. The larger small house overlooks the garden and has a private bathroom.

Le Mas de la Soie provides free private parking on site, with no reservation required. Wi-Fi is free in the communal areas. Outside, the garden and sun terrace offer several places to enjoy your stay. A picnic area, outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities complete the amenities.

The outdoor pool is heated and has a shallow end, parasols and sun loungers. Activities in the area include hiking, cycling and horse riding; a golf course is less than 3 km away. The non-smoking rooms have air conditioning and heating. Depending on the category, you will also find a private bathroom, a kitchen or kitchenette, and garden views. Breakfast is available on site. The facilities offer ways to relax in the garden, swim or plan an active day in the Vaucluse countryside.

Violès is in the Vaucluse, amid the agricultural and vineyard landscapes of Plan de Dieu. This area of the southern Rhône Valley combines vineyards, villages and country roads. The pace is rural, and a car makes it easier to travel between towns, wine estates and trails. Violès village is 1.9 km from the accommodation; the surrounding area suits travellers looking to discover the region's wines or divide their days between walks and sightseeing.

Wine estates are an important part of the local landscape. Gigondas and Vacqueyras, two villages associated with Rhône Valley appellations, offer the chance to visit wine cellars and enjoy vineyard scenery; Gigondas is 5.1 km away. The Dentelles de Montmirail offer hiking routes and the rocky landscapes characteristic of the Vaucluse. In Orange, the Roman-era Ancient Theatre still hosts performances. Orange railway station is 10 km away, as is Courthézon railway station; having a car is convenient for visiting these places and the surrounding villages.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks through the vineyards and visits to wine estates, with generally milder temperatures than in midsummer. In September, the grape harvest offers a glimpse of vineyard work, while summer days make it possible to enjoy the pool after an outing. You can spend a day in Orange exploring its heritage, then set aside another outing for the wine villages and trails of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Country paths can be explored on foot or by bike, with the route adjusted to the summer heat.
