Le Mas des Romarins offers four double rooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Fayence is a hilltop village in the Var hinterland, with old lanes climbing towards the historic centre and open views across the hills. Visitors come to wander the streets, discover local heritage and follow country roads between the villages of the Pays de Fayence.

Notre-Dame-des-Cyprès Chapel is 500 m away and makes for a heritage stop nearby. In Fayence, the Town Gate and Clock Tower recall the village’s history; the Pays de Fayence eco-museum presents local traditions and crafts. Tourrettes and Seillans, other characterful villages in the area, are well suited to a day trip. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 42 km away. A car makes it easier to get between the villages and countryside sites; free private parking is available at the house.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks through the lanes and trips into the hinterland, when temperatures are generally milder.
