Le Mas du Félibre

Le Mas du Félibre is let as a whole: the villa has five bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten people. Its 200 m² comprise the bedrooms, a lounge, an equipped kitchen and three bathrooms. The bed arrangement combines one extra-large double bed, four single beds and two large double beds. Two bedrooms have private bathrooms; the others share the villa’s bathrooms.

The facilities are designed for a self-catering stay, with a refrigerator, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A high chair is also provided. Caumont-sur-Durance is a village in Vaucluse, on the Durance plain between Avignon and the first hills of the Luberon. Its centre retains old gates, religious buildings and gardens, with the atmosphere of a Provençal market town. The surrounding countryside is marked by orchards and farmland; explore the area through visits to villages, heritage walks and trips by car. This rural setting lets you alternate walks around the village with excursions to the region’s major sights.

Jardin Romain is 490 m away and offers a peaceful place for a walk in the village. Chartreuse de Bonpas, 1.9 km away, is a former monastic house to visit nearby. Avignon draws visitors to the Palace of the Popes and Pont Saint-Bénézet, both 12 km away. The Thouzon Caves, 8.2 km away, offer an underground visit. Avignon’s railway stations, including the TGV station, serve the region; a car is useful for getting between the various sights and villages.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for walking tours and outings in the countryside, with temperatures generally milder than in the height of summer.
