The atmosphere blends local life, Camargue traditions and activities centred on the sea; visitors can alternate between walks around the village, swimming and discovering the surrounding wetlands. Le Patio is on Place de l’Église, in the centre, 150 m from Amphora Beach.

The church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer, 50 m away, is a village landmark, and its rooftop terrace offers views of the surrounding area. The Musée des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer presents local history and traditions. To observe flamingos and other birds in their natural habitat, visit the Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau, 4.6 km away. The local beaches are suitable for swimming or walking along the shore; the Golfe de Beauduc offers another view of the Camargue coastline.
