LE PETIT CHENE

LE PETIT CHENE offers two independent villas for four or eight people. Each has a living room, a private bathroom and a terrace overlooking the garden, pool and mountains. Both layouts share a private pool, washing machine and flat-screen TV.

The three-bedroom villa offers 155 m² and three bathrooms; its kitchen and barbecue let you prepare meals on site. It can accommodate up to eight people. The two-bedroom villa measures 45 m² and accommodates up to four people. It has a bathroom and a terrace, with either a shower or a bath. The kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator and utensils, while meal-preparation equipment varies by layout. Both properties overlook the pool, garden and mountainous landscape.

LE PETIT CHENE has free private parking on site, with no reservation required. Pets are allowed at no extra charge. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms, and the flat-screen TV lets you relax in the living areas. The property has a garden, a terrace and a private pool, with sun loungers and a pool cover.

You can prepare meals in the kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, hob and utensils. A coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster are also available. Outdoor furniture and a barbecue let you enjoy meals on the terrace. A washing machine, bed linen, towels and ironing facilities complete the amenities. Families will find a high chair, children's books, DVDs or music, as well as board games or puzzles.

Apt is a small town in the Vaucluse, among the landscapes of the Luberon. Hills, hilltop villages and ochre-coloured terrain give this part of Provence a rural character, dotted with markets and old lanes. Apt's market brings the town centre to life every Saturday morning; the stalls showcase local produce, particularly the candied fruit for which the town is known. The villa is in the countryside, while shops and the town-centre streets are a short drive away.

In Apt, Sainte-Anne Cathedral, Saignon Gate and the history, archaeology and geology museums offer a chance to discover the local heritage. The Ochre Trail, 13 km away, passes through former quarries in shades of red and yellow. The Village of the Bories, 17 km away, features dry-stone buildings typical of the region. Fort de Buoux can be visited in a rugged setting among cliffs and Luberon landscapes. A car makes it easier to explore the villages and natural sites; Apt bus station is 2.2 km away.

Spring and autumn days are well suited to visiting villages and walking in the hills, with temperatures often milder than in midsummer. In July and August, the markets and roads of the Luberon attract more visitors, so it is best to plan outdoor outings for the morning. For a varied day, you can walk through Apt's streets, explore the market, then spend the afternoon among the ochre landscapes or strolling around Buoux. In late June and July, lavender fields colour several parts of Provence.
