Le Prieuré

The rooms at Le Prieuré are available as double, twin, triple and quadruple rooms. They all have a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The five categories range in size from 20 to 40 m². Double rooms are designed for two people; triple rooms accommodate three, while the quadruple room can sleep four.

Bed configurations vary by room: a large double bed, single beds, or a combination of a single bed and a large double bed. The quadruple category accessible to guests with reduced mobility stands out for its 40 m² floor area and capacity. Rooms also include heating, a wardrobe and a hairdryer. Saint-Dalmas-de-Tende railway station is 350 m away, making it convenient to arrive without a car or travel through the valley by train. Fort Central, a military relic in the Alps, is 10 km away. Closer by, several small fortifications and religious buildings dot the surrounding area. By car, the Italian border is about 15 minutes away and Ventimiglia is 40 km away, with its seafront and Riviera markets. The Alpes-Maritimes nature park is 11 km away; its peaks offer routes for walkers.

In spring and summer, mountain trails are suited to walks and hikes, while autumn brings softer colours to the valley slopes. In winter, Alpine conditions mean you should check locally before setting out at altitude. A day can combine a visit to the village, a journey through the valley and a walk amid the landscapes of Mercantour. The proximity of Italy also makes it possible to spend a day in Ventimiglia, between the old town and the coast, before returning to Saint-Dalmas-de-Tende.
