Le saint michel

Le saint michel is rented as a whole: the 110 m² villa has three bedrooms and can accommodate up to six people. The beds comprise two single beds and two large double beds. There are two bathrooms with showers in the property, making it convenient for family or group stays.

The fitted kitchen allows you to prepare meals on site and includes a fridge and dishwasher. The living room provides a place to relax together, with a flat-screen TV. The villa also has a washing machine and a private entrance. From the balcony and terrace, you can enjoy views of the garden and mountains. The house also overlooks an inner courtyard and has a barbecue for outdoor meals.

Le saint michel has a fitted kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and utensils. The village of Orpierre lies in the Baronnies provençales, a mid-mountain area of rugged terrain between the Hautes-Alpes and the Drôme. Its stone houses and narrow streets make up a quiet village, surrounded by cliffs and wooded slopes. The area attracts climbers in particular, as well as hikers and those looking for country roads and open landscapes.

Rocher du Quiquillon, at 810 m, is one of the climbing sites that have made Orpierre famous. In the village, Saint-Julien Church and Porte Ayguière are reminders of the local heritage; the latter is 1.2 km away. Orpierre centre is 1.2 km away, with its narrow streets and old houses. For train travel, Laragne and Serres railway stations are 9 km and 12 km away respectively. A car makes it easier to reach the villages and trails scattered throughout the valleys.

You can plan your days around a morning hike, a climbing trip or a walk in the surrounding area, before returning to the garden and terrace. Temperatures are often pleasant for walking in spring and autumn; summer is suited to outdoor activities, with outings best planned earlier in the day. The roads of the Baronnies also offer plenty of opportunities to discover villages and landscapes. For a more leisurely outing, take time to walk around Orpierre and admire its ancient gates and stone façades.
