Les Arcades

Les Arcades offers four independent accommodation units: a studio with a garden and three two-bedroom apartments. The 40 m² studio has a terrace and can accommodate four people. The apartments measure 65 or 70 m²; depending on the category, they can accommodate four or five guests. They have a living room, two bedrooms and an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and coffee machine.

All four units have a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a kitchen with a refrigerator and dishwasher. A coffee machine is also provided. The two-bedroom apartments have a double bed, single beds and a sofa bed. One is adapted for guests with reduced mobility, with a shower accessible by wheelchair. The studio stands out for its terrace, while the apartment with countryside views accommodates up to five people.

Les Arcades has equipped kitchens for preparing meals on site. Depending on the unit, you will find a refrigerator, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. An electric kettle, coffee machine and kitchenware complete the equipment. The apartments also have a dining area, a living room and a washing machine; a tumble dryer is among the available amenities.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The units have a flat-screen TV, and some include board games or books for children. Free public parking is available nearby, with spaces accessible to guests with reduced mobility. Facilities include wheelchair-accessible entrance, raised toilets and grab rails. A safe, heating and soundproofed rooms complete the amenities. The studio has a terrace with outdoor furniture and a dining area.

Villecroze is a village in the Var, between the Provençal hills and the landscapes of the Haut-Var. Its lanes, old façades and small squares make up a centre that is best explored on foot at a leisurely pace. The village is best known for its troglodyte caves, carved into the tufa cliff, and its wooded park. It has the feel of a small Provençal community, appreciated by travellers who prefer strolls through villages and outings in the countryside to large seaside resorts.

The troglodyte caves are 460 m from Les Arcades; they bear witness to the cliff’s long history of occupation and can be visited along a landscaped route. The open-air theatre and the village gardens offer shady spots to pause. Tourtour, a hilltop village known for its views over the Var hills, makes a nearby excursion. The surrounding wine estates offer a chance to discover local wines. Salernes, with its history of ceramics, is another possible stop in the region. A car is useful for travelling between villages and exploring country roads; Toulon-Hyères is the nearest airport mentioned in the area.

In spring and autumn, mild temperatures are well suited to walks through the lanes and visits to the villages. In summer, plan walks for early morning or late afternoon, then take a break in the shade of the park. You could spend a day visiting the caves, having lunch in the village and walking to Tourtour. Wine lovers can devote another outing to the area’s estates; the surrounding hills and roads also offer plenty of opportunities to explore the Haut-Var at a leisurely pace.
