Les Chambres de Solliès

Les Chambres de Solliès offers four room categories: Double Room, Triple Room, Suite and King-Size Suite. The two standard rooms are 12 m² and accommodate two and three people respectively. They have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a terrace; their bathroom is shared and located on the landing. The Triple Room has one single bed and one double bed, while the Double Room has one double bed.

Both suites have private bathrooms and offer more space, measuring 24 and 25 m². The Suite accommodates four people and has one single bed, one double bed and a sofa bed. The King-Size Suite has a separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, and offers a city view. The rooms and suites are on the second and third floors, accessible by stairs only.

Les Chambres de Solliès provides free Wi-Fi throughout the guest house. The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV; some have a washing machine or tumble dryer. A shared kitchen, bed linen, towels and a hairdryer are among the practical amenities. The terrace and picnic area provide places to relax outdoors.

The hot tub, sauna, massages and spa treatments complete the wellness facilities. Darts, board games and activities such as cycling and hiking are also available. The on-site café serves drinks, and fruit is available. For guests travelling by car, private parking spaces are nearby and available by reservation only, at a cost of €3 per day. An electric vehicle charging station is also available.

Solliès-Pont is a Provençal town in the Gapeau valley, east of Toulon. The centre retains a village feel, with streets lined with historic buildings and neighbourhood squares. The town is known in the region for its fig cultivation, and its surroundings combine agricultural plains, hills and neighbouring villages. It suits travellers who want to explore the Var hinterland while still being able to visit the coast.

In the centre, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church and Château Forbin are among the local heritage landmarks. Parc Marie Astoin provides a place to stroll, while Musée Jean Aicard and Musée du vêtement provençal offer a glimpse into local history and traditions. The ruins of Château de Forbin are also in the town. Solliès-Pont train station is 400 m away and provides access to the regional rail network. Toulon, with its port and museums, is 16 km away. Toulon-Hyères Airport is 12 km away.

A car makes it easier to explore the villages of the valley, the hills and the Var coastline. In summer, you can spend a day at the beaches and ports along the coast, then return to a less urban setting. Spring and autumn are well suited to walking or cycling in the hinterland, when temperatures are often milder. For a more local visit, allow time to explore the centre and Solliès-Pont’s historic sites; the neighbouring towns of Solliès-Ville and Solliès-Toucas make a pleasant addition to a visit to the valley.
