Les Hortensias

Les Hortensias offers two double or twin rooms, each designed for two people and measuring 22 m². All have a private bathroom, air conditioning and a kitchenette equipped for preparing simple meals. The fridge, oven, hob, kitchenware, kettle and coffee machine make this space practical for everyday use. A dining area lets you eat in your room.

Both rooms also share a terrace, a patio and views of the garden and mountains. A flat-screen TV with streaming services completes the indoor facilities. Bed configurations may vary: one extra-large double bed or two single beds. The rooms therefore suit couples as well as guests who wish to sleep separately, while enjoying a private outdoor space and a kitchenette.

Les Hortensias has a landscaped garden with outdoor furniture, a sun terrace and an outdoor dining area. A barbecue and barbecue facilities are also available for cooking outside. The outdoor swimming pool, with its shallow end, is accompanied by sun loungers, parasols and pool or beach towels. Guests can enjoy hiking and skiing in the area; ski storage is available on site.

Private parking is free and does not require advance reservation. It includes a charging station for electric vehicles. Wi-Fi is free and suitable for streaming and video calls. Pets are allowed on request, and a supplement may apply. The rooms have a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The outdoor facilities and relaxation areas let you alternate between time in the garden, swimming and outings in the valley.

Lantosque is a village in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the Vésubie Valley, surrounded by Alpine peaks and wooded slopes. It has the feel of a mountain village, with narrow streets, houses clustered along the hillside and chapels that reflect local life. Visitors come here to enjoy a rural setting and explore the valley’s roads and trails, away from the urban districts of the coast.

Mercantour National Park is nearby, with mountain scenery, hiking trails and Alpine wildlife. Marmite de la Bollène, a well-known waterfall in the area, makes for an outing to the valley’s waters and rocks. The villages of La Bollène-Vésubie and Roquebillière offer a chance to discover other mountain communities and stop along the way. In Lantosque itself, Sainte-Croix Chapel and the Chapel of Mercy provide a glimpse of the local religious heritage. The valley is easier to explore by car, particularly for reaching trailheads and scattered sights.

The warmer months, from spring to early autumn, are well suited to walks and hikes, with temperatures generally milder at altitude than in town. In summer, bring sturdy shoes and water for walks on the trails. The colder season brings a different feel to the mountain landscape and offers opportunities to enjoy winter activities in the region. A day can combine a visit to the village, a walk in the valley and a break by the water; mountain conditions change with the seasons.
