Les mas de Haute-Provence

The four holiday homes comprise one- or two-bedroom units, sleeping between two and eight people, depending on the category. Each has a private bathroom, a kitchenette, a lounge area and a terrace with garden views. The accommodation also includes a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. The 20 m² One-Bedroom House is the most compact option and sleeps two; the other One-Bedroom House offers 35 m² and sleeps four.

The two-bedroom units offer more space, with areas of 45 and 55 m² and capacities of six and eight people respectively. They have a dishwasher, as does the 35 m² house. Sleeping arrangements vary: the smallest unit has a sofa bed, while the larger houses have a double bed and a sofa bed or bunk beds. Each terrace offers garden views.

The outdoor facilities make the garden a great place to spend time. A seasonal outdoor swimming pool is complemented by sun loungers, parasols and a solarium. You will also find outdoor furniture, an al fresco dining area and a sun terrace. Each house has its own terrace and garden views, and there is outdoor play equipment for children.

The kitchenettes are equipped for preparing meals, with a hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and kitchenware. Several units also have a coffee machine and a dishwasher. On-site private parking is free and does not require a reservation. Pets are allowed, possibly for an additional charge. The reception is open 24 hours a day; check-in is between 15:00 and 20:00, and you must communicate your expected arrival time in advance. The property does not have Internet access.

Saint-Étienne-les-Orgues is in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, amid villages, hills and Provençal scenery. The village offers a rural stop away from major urban centres, with roads connecting the small towns in the region. The Lure Mountain forms part of the local panorama and draws hikers and those keen to spend time outdoors. This area is suited to travellers who want to explore inland Provence at their own pace, by car, taking in village heritage and natural landscapes.

Saint-Étienne Church is 890 m away and offers a chance to discover the village's religious heritage. Aven des Bessons, 1.6 km away, is a natural cave in the surrounding area. In Ongles, the Maison d'Histoire et de Mémoire, 3.5 km away, offers another glimpse into local history. The villages of Fontienne and Ongles are also worth stopping at along the country roads. Golf du Luberon is 37 km away; Marseille Provence Airport is 104 km away. Free private parking on site makes it easier to get around this region, where a car is useful for reaching nearby attractions and towns.

Warmer days are ideal for walks and outdoor activities; the outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally. In spring and autumn, temperatures are often more suitable for hiking in the hills and visiting the villages. In summer, you can alternate morning excursions with time to relax in the garden or on the terrace.
