Les Rapieres Mireio

Les Rapieres Mireio offers three independent holiday homes, each arranged to accommodate between two and five people, depending on the property. They all have a fitted kitchen, private bathroom, air conditioning and terrace. Views look out over the garden, pool or mountains, and the living spaces include a flat-screen TV. The kitchens include a fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and coffee machine, among other items.

The 68 m² Family House has two bedrooms and a jacuzzi. The 37 m² One-Bedroom House also has a sofa bed in the living room. The third house measures 84 m² and has a veranda; its name distinguishes it from the other two by noting that it has no jacuzzi. Sleeping arrangements vary between the houses and include double beds, a very large double bed, a single bed or a sofa bed. The 68 m² and 84 m² houses each have two private bathrooms.

The outdoor areas at Les Rapieres Mireio are arranged around a heated outdoor swimming pool, bordered by sun loungers, parasols and a fence. A pool cover and toys are also available. The terraces, outdoor furniture and al fresco dining area extend the living spaces; a barbecue and its facilities let you cook outside. The garden completes the setting, with views of the pool, mountains or green spaces from the houses.

Inside, the accommodation includes a kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and coffee machine. Air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi are provided. The houses have private bathrooms with a shower or bath, bed linen and towels. Free private parking is available on site, including accessible parking. Pets are allowed, possibly for an additional charge. A 24-hour reception completes the services at the holiday home.

Gordes is a hilltop village in the Luberon, known for its pale stone houses and lanes that climb towards the castle. Small squares, vaulted passages and views over the hills give walks a Provençal character. The holiday home is set among old villages and limestone landscapes; a car is useful for exploring the surrounding area, while Gordes centre is within walking distance.

Gordes Castle and the village lanes are about 800 m away. The Village des Bories, a group of dry-stone buildings, is 2.4 km away. Notre-Dame de Sénanque Abbey, known for its Cistercian architecture and lavender fields, is 2.1 km away. Further afield, the Sentier des Ocres de Roussillon winds through former quarries in shades of red and orange. Cavaillon railway station is 16 km away; Marseille Provence Airport is 51 km away. These places let you combine heritage, walks and the landscapes of the Luberon.

June and July are popular for the lavender fields, while spring and autumn are well suited to walking and visiting villages, with temperatures often milder than in the height of summer. Gordes attracts more visitors in summer, and the lanes can be busy around midday. You could spend a day strolling through the village in the morning, visiting Sénanque Abbey and returning along the small roads of the Luberon. The Provençal markets in neighbouring villages also offer a chance to discover local produce and the region’s way of life.
