Lone Star House

Lone Star House offers three double rooms, each for two guests. They all have a private bathroom, air conditioning and access to an outdoor area: a terrace, patio or private garden, depending on the room type. The rooms include a coffee machine, and a refrigerator is also available. The views vary between the rooms: sea, garden, pool or town.

The Double or Twin Room with Sea View and Terrace combines a furnished terrace with coastal views. Another room opens onto a private garden with a terrace and sun loungers. The third is the largest, at 35 m², and also has a private terrace and a courtyard overlooking the sea. Some rooms also include a dining table; bathroom facilities include a shower or bath. Each room offers a different outdoor setting for enjoying the climate in Sainte-Maxime.

The outdoor swimming pool has a shallow end, with sun loungers and parasols for enjoying the sunshine. The terraces, patio and garden extend the relaxation areas outdoors. The guest house also offers massages, body treatments and beauty services. A golf course is less than three kilometres away, and the surrounding area is suitable for hiking.

It suits travellers who want to spend time by the sea while exploring the villages and landscapes of the Var. Sandy beaches alternate with coves and stretches of rockier coastline.

The town centre and beach are within walking distance of Lone Star House; Plage du centre ville is 980 m away. The covered market, 1.4 km away, offers a chance to discover Provençal produce and the atmosphere of the local market. Parc Botanique des Myrtes, 930 m away, offers a walk among Mediterranean plants. From the Port of Sainte-Maxime, ferries cross the gulf to Saint-Tropez on the opposite shore. A car is useful for exploring the beaches and inland villages.

The summer season draws swimmers and those keen on boat trips; in September, mild temperatures make coastal walks pleasant, often with fewer visitors than in high summer. You can start the day at the market, continue to a beach on the gulf and finish at the port at sunset. The hill trails offer another way to explore Provençal vegetation, while Grimaud and its old lanes make a good inland excursion. In spring and autumn, the weather is suited to walks and visits, so you need not limit yourself to beach activities.
