Roussillon, 4.6 km away, offers a different palette of colours: its ochre cliffs and marked trail let you explore a landscape shaped by pigment mining. Cavaillon railway station is 17 km away; Marseille-Provence Airport is 51 km away.

Fine weather is ideal for walks between villages and breaks in shady gardens. Lavender usually blooms from late June to July, while spring and early autumn offer milder temperatures for exploring the paths. You can spend a day exploring the lanes of Gordes, visiting Sénanque and then walking among the ochre landscapes of Roussillon. In summer, it is best to visit in the morning and save the hottest hours for the pool or garden.
