Ma Petite Auberge

Ma Petite Auberge offers three room categories: the Standard Twin Room, Triple Room and Standard Double Room. All have a private bathroom and a TV; several shared amenities also include heating and soundproofing. The Standard rooms accommodate two people, while the Triple Room can sleep three. Room sizes range from 13 to 16 m².

Views vary by room: some overlook the garden, mountains, town or river, while the twin room is described as having a street view. The Triple Room has one single bed and one double bed, while the other two categories have either two single beds or one double bed. Bathrooms have a shower or a bath.

Outdoor areas include a garden and a sun terrace with outdoor furniture. Indoors, heating and soundproofing are among the shared amenities. The rooms are non-smoking, and some are family rooms; upper floors are accessible by stairs only. Guests can also use an executive lounge.

The river and the surrounding terrain attract travellers who want to combine walks around the village with outdoor activities. The views change along the roads, between valleys, cliffs and turquoise waters.

Castellane Market is 30 m away and Maison Nature et Patrimoines, devoted to the local area and its traditions, is 80 m away. Porte de l’Annonciade and the Clock Tower bear witness to the village's past; Pont du Roc offers a viewpoint over the Verdon. Lake Castillon, 5 km away, is a place to enjoy the waterfront. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, canoeing, climbing and cycling. Castellane is also a stop on routes through Verdon Regional Nature Park.

In summer, the days are suited to swimming and outings on the water; it is best to set off early for walks when the sun is less intense. In spring and autumn, milder temperatures suit walking routes and visits to the village. A day can begin with a walk through the lanes, continue by the Verdon and end with an excursion to the lake or the gorges' viewpoints. A car makes it easier to travel between the region's different natural sites.
