Maprovencale

Maprovencale offers two accommodation options with different layouts: a double room for two people and a one-bedroom house that can accommodate four people. The 16 m² double room has a balcony and a private bathroom. It offers views of the garden, pool or mountains, as well as a terrace and a coffee machine.

The 50 m² house has a separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. Its kitchen is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob and kitchenware. A private bathroom with a walk-in shower completes the accommodation. The terrace overlooks the garden, and a barbecue is also provided. Both accommodation options are air-conditioned, soundproofed and equipped with a flat-screen TV. The private pool is among their shared amenities.

The outdoor areas include an outdoor pool, a private pool, a garden, a balcony and a sun terrace. Outdoor furniture and a dining area make it possible to eat outside, and a picnic area completes these facilities. Sun loungers, parasols, pool toys and a pool cover are also provided. You can have a drink at the bar.

Free private parking is available on site, with adapted access for guests with reduced mobility. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Accommodation amenities include air conditioning, heating and soundproofing. A shared kitchen has a dining table, coffee machine, electric kettle and fridge. A flat-screen TV and streaming service complete the media facilities. A continental breakfast is served on site.

Les Arcs-sur-Argens is a village in the Var whose old centre retains medieval gates and stone lanes. Houses cluster around the Parage quarter, while the surrounding landscape alternates between vineyards, hills and woodland. The town suits travellers who want to combine a visit to a Provençal village with time to relax in a rural setting. Maprovencale’s pool and garden also let you spend part of the day unwinding.

In the historic centre, the Maison de l’Histoire des Arcs traces local history, and several old gates line the streets. The Chapelle Saint-Pierre du Parage and the Église du Martyre de Saint-Jean-Baptiste are among the buildings to discover. The vineyards in the surrounding area offer another glimpse of the Var’s local produce. Les Arcs–Draguignan railway station, about 3 km from the house, serves the region; a car makes it easier to take trips between villages and vineyards.

Fine weather is ideal for walks around the old village, visits to vineyards and breaks by the pool. In summer, the heat makes it worth planning outings for the morning or late afternoon. Autumn is an interesting time to discover the vineyard landscapes during the harvest, generally from September to October. For a varied day out, you can explore the lanes of Les Arcs, visit a vineyard and then return to enjoy the garden. The hills and nearby villages also offer ideas for countryside walks.
