Mas À l'Improviste

Le Mas À l'Improviste offers three air-conditioned accommodations decorated in a Provençal style. Both double rooms have a private bathroom, a patio, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. They sleep two people and differ in size: the Superior Double Room is 25 m², while the Deluxe Double Room is 45 m². Both are soundproofed and have a view.

At 60 m², the Superior Suite offers more space and a layout suited to a small group: it sleeps three people. It has a seating area, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a view of the garden and swimming pool. A sleeping area with bunk beds can be prepared on request for an extra charge. Each accommodation has a patio and a private bathroom.

The shared facilities combine outdoor spaces with practical amenities for everyday use. The garden, terrace and patio let you enjoy the outdoors, while the outdoor swimming pool offers a place to swim on site. There is also a bar where you can get together. Private parking is free and does not require advance reservation, and Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the property.

The accommodations are air-conditioned and soundproofed. They have a private entrance, a safe and parquet flooring; the upper floors are accessible by stairs only. Maillane is a Provençal village associated with Frédéric Mistral, a poet and writer in the Occitan language. Around the village, farmland stretches towards neighbouring villages and the hills of the Alpilles. You can discover local life by walking its streets, visiting places dedicated to the poet and taking in the landscapes as they shift from plain to hills. The village will appeal to travellers who enjoy small Provençal communities and want to explore the region by car.

The Maison de Frédéric Mistral, 310 m away, traces the poet’s life and work. The Sainte-Agathe Church is 230 m away, in the village, while the Jardin Aquatique Aux Fleurs de l'Eau, 1.0 km away, invites you to stroll among its landscaped features. Saint-Rémy-de-Provence has old streets and the ancient site of Les Antiques. Avignon is home to the Palace of the Popes and the Pont Saint-Bénézet. You could spend a day visiting Maillane and places associated with Mistral, followed by an excursion to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Another day could be devoted to Avignon’s monuments and museums.
