Mas Cicada

Le Mas Cicada offers three rooms for two people: a Standard Double Room, a Superior Double Room and a Superior King Room. All have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, a spa bath, a coffee machine and soundproofed walls. Each room has one large double bed.

The Standard room measures 25 m² and stands out for its seating area and outdoor dining area. The two Superior rooms are 30 m² and overlook the garden. One has a dining table, while the other has outdoor furniture. The three rooms therefore offer different features while sharing the same main comforts. The bathroom includes a spa bath, a shower and a hairdryer.

The outdoor areas at Le Mas Cicada include a garden and a sun terrace with furniture and an outdoor dining area. The outdoor swimming pool is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and pool or beach towels. A mini golf course, horse riding and cycling are also among the facilities and activities on offer.

For relaxation, guests have access to a private hot tub, a hammam, a steam bath and massages. A fitness centre completes the facilities. The shared lounge has a TV area, while the on-site café and the tea and coffee-making facilities provide options for a drink. The rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking. Free private parking is available on site, and Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property.

Paradou is a village in the Alpilles, amid the Provençal landscape of limestone hills, olive trees and scrubland. Small roads link the villages and agricultural estates in this area, where walking and cycling let you explore the surroundings at your own pace. Nearby Maussane-les-Alpilles offers another village stop, while Paradou retains a quieter atmosphere than the larger neighbouring centres.

Les Baux-de-Provence, a hilltop village known for its castle and stone lanes, is 2.2 km away. Golf du Domaine de Manville is 1.5 km away, and the Musée Yves Brayer displays works connected with Provence and the landscapes of the Alpilles. Arles, with its Roman amphitheatre and historic centre, makes for a memorable day out. For regional travel, the railway stations at Fontvieille and Saint-Martin-de-Crau are nearby; a car makes it easier to visit the villages and natural sites.

Spring and autumn are particularly suitable for walks, when temperatures are milder. In summer, plan walks for early morning or late afternoon, and leave time for breaks in the shade. A day out could combine the lanes of Les Baux, a visit to Maussane and a detour to Arles. The roads through the Alpilles also cross agricultural landscapes and olive groves, which are pleasant to explore by bicycle or on a drive.
