The village of Noves is 4.5 km away, and the communes of Verquières and Saint-Andiol are also nearby. For a heritage visit, Châteaurenard Castle can be visited in the neighbouring town; Les Antiques, in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, are Roman ruins 8 km away. Avignon offers another excursion, with the Palace of the Popes, its ramparts and the streets of the old town. Avignon-Centre station is 19 km away; the stations at Montfavet and Gadagne are closer. A vehicle makes it easier to travel between the villages and sites in the region.

Spring and autumn are pleasant times to explore the Alpilles and visit the towns without the summer heat. In summer, the pool and early-morning outings help you make the most of Provençal days, which are often hot. You can spend a day in Avignon, then return via the villages on the plain, or head to Saint-Rémy to discover the landscapes and ancient heritage.
