Mas Du Puits

Le Mas Du Puits offers two accommodation units: a Double Room with Garden View and a Suite with a separate bedroom and a living room. Both have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a coffee machine. Garden views and private outdoor space are features of both units, while their sizes and layouts set them apart. The Double Room measures 35 m² and sleeps two. The larger Suite, at 78 m², can accommodate up to four people.

The Suite also has a balcony and a seating area in the living room. It includes a large double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room; the Double Room has a large double bed. The bathrooms have a shower or a bath. Both accommodation units have a private entrance, and toiletries and bathrobes are among the available amenities. Each unit has a coffee machine.

The outdoor areas at Le Mas Du Puits include a garden, a terrace and outdoor furniture. A sun terrace is a place to enjoy the sunshine, while barbecue facilities and a picnic area are suitable for outdoor meals. You can arrange walks, cycling trips or hikes in the surrounding area. Packed lunches are available for days spent outdoors.

The property also has luggage storage, daily housekeeping and express check-in or check-out. Laundry facilities are available. Amenities for pets include food bowls. Courthézon is a village in Vaucluse surrounded by vineyards, between Orange and Avignon. The vines shape the surrounding area and give this part of Provence its rural character. The village makes a good stop away from major urban centres, with wine estates and towns in the Rhône Valley to discover. Travelling by car is easier, particularly for reaching the wine estates and historic sites in the region.

Château de Beaucastel is 860 m away; several wine estates, including La Bastide Saint-Dominique, are also nearby. In Courthézon, Porte Aurouze and Porte des Princes are reminders of the village’s fortified past. Orange, around 5 km away depending on the destination, is known for its Roman ancient theatre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Avignon, 23 km away, offers the Palace of the Popes and its historic centre. Courthézon railway station is 2.8 km from the bed and breakfast.

The warmer months are well suited to walks among the vines and visits to wine estates; in September and October, the grape harvest sets the pace of the wine-growing season. You can combine a day discovering Orange’s heritage with a wine tasting at an estate, allowing time to return before evening. For a longer stay, Avignon offers an urban and cultural stop, while the landscapes of Vaucluse invite you to alternate sightseeing with walks. Provençal summers are generally hot: mornings are a good time to go for walks, before the sun is at its strongest.
