Le Mas OREA offers a one-bedroom holiday home arranged for two people. The bedroom is part of an independent 45 m² property and has an en-suite bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area let you prepare and enjoy meals on site, while the lounge provides a separate space to relax. Air conditioning, soundproofing and a private entrance complete the interior.

The terrace and patio are particular features of this house: they overlook the garden and inner courtyard, with the private swimming pool available for your use. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. The large double bed accommodates two guests; bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided.

Gordes is a hilltop village in the Luberon, known for its pale stone houses and sloping lanes. From the heights, you can look out over the hills and agricultural landscapes of the Vaucluse. The village attracts visitors interested in Provençal heritage, walks through the old quarters and trips to neighbouring villages. Le Mas OREA is in the La Capoune area, away from the bustle of the centre.

Gordes Castle and the village lanes are 2.6 km away. The Caves du Palais Saint-Firmin, carved beneath the old houses, offer a glimpse into the village’s underground history. At 4.5 km, Sénanque Abbey stands in a valley surrounded by hills; its lavender landscape is particularly well known in summer. The Village des Bories, a group of dry-stone buildings, is also open to visitors nearby. A car is useful for reaching other places in the Luberon; Cavaillon railway station is 16 km away.

Fine weather is well suited to walks between Gordes, Joucas and Goult, as well as hikes along the paths of the mountain range. In June and July, lavender fields colour several parts of Provence, while September often brings milder temperatures for visiting villages and markets. You can spend a day exploring Gordes’ lanes and visiting Sénanque, then return to enjoy the terrace and swimming pool. In summer, it is best to plan outings for the cooler parts of the day.
