Olguita

Olguita offers a 32 m² double room for two guests. It has a double bed, a private entrance and a private bathroom. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. A refrigerator is also available. The balcony and terrace provide outdoor space to enjoy views of the sea, garden and mountains; there is also an inner courtyard view.

The seafront is inviting for a stroll, and the beaches are a place to take a break between visits. The Garavan area, to the east of town, combines the seafront with green spaces.

Hawaï Beach is 800 m away and Menton-Garavan train station is 700 m away. In town, the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel overlooks the lanes of Menton’s old town; the Jean Cocteau Museum – Le Bastion displays works by the artist in a building facing the sea. Val Rahmeh Botanical Garden brings together plants from a range of climates. Hanbury Gardens, across the border in Italy, offer another botanical outing. Menton train station provides a rail connection to Nice; Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 26 km away.

A day can combine swimming, exploring the old quarter and visiting a garden without leaving Menton. Spring and autumn are well suited to walks and outdoor visits; in summer, the beaches and seafront are busier. The proximity of Italy also makes it easy to extend an outing towards the Ligurian Riviera. Walkers can choose routes in the hills, while cycling lets you follow the coast and explore the seaside neighbourhoods.
