The six room categories include double, twin, triple and quadruple rooms, in Standard or Superior versions. Double and twin rooms accommodate two people; triple rooms sleep three, while quadruple rooms can accommodate four. Room sizes range from 21 to 28 m². Each category has a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. A minibar is also among the amenities shared by all rooms.

Standard rooms offer either a double bed or twin beds, depending on the category. In the Superior versions, a balcony and mountain view distinguish the double, twin, triple and quadruple rooms. Triple and quadruple rooms provide more space for small groups and families. Bed arrangements vary by room type: some quadruple rooms combine a double bed and two single beds, while others can be set up with four single beds. Each room therefore has a configuration suited to its capacity.

The hotel offers ski-to-door access and ski storage, as well as a 24-hour reception. After a day on the slopes or out hiking, you can relax in the shared lounge, which has a TV. Luggage storage, daily housekeeping and packed lunches are among the other services available. Board games and puzzles are also provided in the communal areas. Guests with reduced mobility have access to adapted facilities, and all accommodation is wheelchair accessible.

The restaurant serves breakfast in continental, American or buffet style, with options for children. A bar and fruit baskets are among the available dining options, while the rooms have a minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Private indoor parking is available by reservation, at a rate of €15 per day. Pets are allowed on request, with a possible extra charge. Heating, a lift and a safe are also among the facilities.

Vars is a mountain resort in the Hautes-Alpes, set in an Alpine landscape shaped by larch forests, rugged terrain and the hamlets that make up the commune. The Les Claux area brings together the resort’s services and access to the slopes. It suits travellers who want to plan their days around skiing in winter or walks and hikes when the snow gives way to trails.

The Escondus and Claux ski lifts are a few hundred metres from the hotel, and several other access points to the slopes serve the area. The Vars ski area is linked to Risoul to form the Forêt Blanche. Outside the ski season, Queyras Regional Nature Park offers mountain scenery and hiking routes; Écrins National Park is another destination for exploring Alpine landscapes. Montdauphin-Guillestre railway station is 12 km away. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding valleys and villages.

In winter, you can spend the day on the slopes, then enjoy the restaurant and shared lounge when you return. Summer is suited to hiking, walks through the hamlets and excursions to nearby natural areas. For a more relaxed outing, combine a walk at altitude with a visit to mountain villages. Conditions vary with the season and altitude, so bring suitable clothing, particularly for excursions on the trails. You can also discover the region through its landscapes, from forests and mountain pastures to views of the peaks of the Southern Alps.
