This stop suits travellers who want to explore northern Vaucluse and return in the evening to a small village.

Roaix centre is 410 m away, and Saint-Roch Church is 490 m away. The Escaravailles wine estates and the Cave Coopérative des vignerons de Roaix Séguret are among the local places dedicated to the region’s wines. Vaison-la-Romaine, about 4 km away, offers the archaeological sites of Puymin and La Vilasse, as well as the Roman bridge and the cathedral. Mont Ventoux, 10 km away, attracts cyclists and hikers; its scenery changes markedly between the wooded foothills and the open heights.

Spring and autumn are pleasant times to explore the vineyard roads and visit the villages without the summer heat. In September, the grape harvest offers a different perspective on the wine-growing hillsides. A day can combine a visit to the Roman remains of Vaison-la-Romaine with a stop at a wine estate, followed by a stroll around Roaix. In summer, it is best to plan outdoor activities for the morning or late afternoon; the higher ground of Ventoux then offers a cooler escape.
