Nice-Ville train station, about 970 m away, connects the city with other stops along the French Riviera. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 4.8 km away; the tram serves the centre and the airport.

The seafront is pleasant for a walk in any season and is busier during the summer months. In spring and autumn, temperatures are often comfortable for combining a swim with museum visits and a stroll through Vieux-Nice. You could start the day at the squares and markets in the old neighbourhood, continue to MAMAC and finish by the seafront. In summer, plan visits for the morning and save the hottest hours for a break in the shade or by the water.
