Sur Un Petit Nuage

The entire chalet offers 60 m² of space for up to six people. It has two separate bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed and a private bathroom. The layout combines two single beds, one double bed and a sofa bed, making it suitable for a family or group who want to share communal spaces while having separate bedrooms.

The living area brings together the seating area, fireplace and flat-screen TV. The equipped kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave. The balcony and terrace overlook the garden and mountains, with views of the surroundings. The chalet also has a washing machine and barbecue. The bedrooms and living room form one self-contained accommodation, with no other room categories on site.

The outdoor areas include a balcony, terrace, garden furniture and a picnic area. A barbecue and barbecue facilities make it possible to cook outdoors; the sun terrace also offers a place to sit. Free public parking is available nearby, with a charging station for electric vehicles. Parking spaces cannot be reserved.

The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals, with a hob, oven, toaster, fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A washing machine, dishwasher and drying rack complete the facilities. For entertainment, the chalet has a TV, satellite channels, a Blu-ray player and a games console. The surrounding area is well suited to skiing, cycling, hiking, walking and fishing; ski-to-door access, ski pass sales, a ski school and equipment rental are also available.

Roubion is a mountain village in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the upper Nice hinterland. The hamlet of Les Buisses, where the chalet is located, is set in Alpine scenery of forests, mountain slopes and small hilltop villages. The region attracts skiers in winter and visitors who prefer trails, cycling and panoramic views in milder seasons. Life here follows the rhythm of a rural destination: travel and activities are planned mainly around the mountains and the weather.

Roubion-Les-Buisses ski resort is 1.3 km from the chalet; the Les Buisses ski lifts are 100 m away. In winter, they provide access to the ski area, while the surrounding paths invite you to go for walks and cycle when conditions allow. The village of Roubion, also 1.3 km away, is a chance to explore its lanes and mountain architecture. Mercantour National Park extends across this area, with protected landscapes and hiking routes. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 68 km away; a car makes it easier to travel between the villages and sites in the valley.

In winter, bring clothing suited to Alpine conditions and check whether the slopes are open before setting out. In spring and summer, hikes and bike rides offer another way to explore the mountain slopes; a trip to the Saint-Sébastien waterfall offers a change of scenery. You can plan a day around skiing or a walk, followed by a meal prepared at the chalet. In autumn, the forests take on changing colours and remain suited to walks, depending on the weather.
