Terres Élaïs

Terres Élaïs offers four double rooms, each designed for two people and equipped with a private bathroom. They all have air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. Robion is a village in the Vaucluse, in the Luberon landscape, where Provençal houses and hills make for walks and quiet country roads. The village offers a rural stop between Cavaillon and the hilltop villages of the massif. Visitors can combine walks, local heritage and excursions through landscapes of scrubland and orchards. A car makes it easier to travel between the villages and regional sites.

In Robion, Notre-Dame de la Nativité Church and the waterwheel are among the local heritage landmarks. The Lavender Museum, 4.4 km away, showcases the skills associated with this emblematic Provençal plant. Gordes, known for its stone houses clinging to the hillside, and the Village des Bories, with its dry-stone buildings, make for a pleasant outing. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse offers the chance to see the source of the Sorgue. Cavaillon railway station is 4.7 km away; Avignon and the Palace of the Popes make for a day trip centred on culture.

Spring and autumn are pleasant times to explore the villages and trails without the intense summer heat. In summer, hot days make it worth planning visits for early morning and enjoying the pool during the hottest hours. Lavender blooms across Provençal landscapes in early summer, while markets and villages become livelier during the tourist season. A day could combine a visit to Gordes, a walk around the Village des Bories and a stop in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse before returning to Robion.
