Villa Bonheur

Villa Bonheur is rented as a whole: its 80 m² include two bedrooms, a private bathroom and a kitchen. The villa can accommodate up to five people and has three beds in total. One bedroom has a double bed; the other has a double bed and a single bed. This layout allows the beds to be shared between adults and children, or between several travellers.

The garden views extend to the terrace, while a balcony provides another outdoor space. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private entrance complete the villa’s facilities. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave and a tea/coffee maker; there is also a washing machine. Bed linen and towels are provided. The bathroom is private. The villa is suitable for stays where you want to prepare your own meals and enjoy indoor and outdoor spaces in one place.

Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer occupies a peninsula south of Toulon, amid a landscape of coves, beaches and Mediterranean hills. The village retains a peaceful character, centred on the harbour and maritime life; the coastline alternates between small beaches and paths where you can enjoy the seafront. It is an area suited to travellers who want to spend time outdoors, swim or explore both sides of the bay.

Plage du Touring is 350 m from the villa, and several other beaches are scattered around Saint-Mandrier. Phare de la Vieille, 800 m away, is a landmark on the coast. Further afield, Musée Balaguier and Fort de Balaguier, both 2.2 km away, tell the story of the defences of Toulon harbour. Maritime pontoons serve the area and connect the peninsula with neighbouring districts; Toulon railway station is about 14 km away. A car makes it easier to explore the coast, while boat connections offer another way to reach the surrounding area.

The warmer months are ideal for swimming and days spent between the beaches and the harbour. In spring and autumn, milder temperatures often make it more pleasant to walk along the coast or visit the forts outside the summer crowds. You can spend a day with a morning by the water and a visit to Toulon, whose harbour and historic centre offer another glimpse of life in the region. In summer, it is best to plan walks for the cooler parts of the day and leave time to explore the coves.
